DONALD ALLEN SLYE

Donald Allen Slye, 48, of New Virginia, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 4:20 a.m.

Don is survived by his father, Gary Slye; wife, Vicky; children, Amber Slye, Heaven Slye, Ciera (Michael) Schroeder, Keisha (Dylan) Slye, Khaila (Kaleb) Slye and Ally (Max) Slye; grandchildren, Jaivon, Neilah, Lyla, Sage, Zane and Natalie; siblings, Lori Herman, Sheila (Roger) Ripperger, Shellie (Jeff) Webb and Daniel (John) Slye; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and very good friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hutchison; sister, Lisa Sinclair; grandparents, Virgil and Mildred Slye; and mother-in law, Cora Pierce.

Don grew up around the Indianola area and was a master auto technician at Westside Muffler and Repair in Indianola. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 19, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Sports Page Bar and Grill, 1802 W. 2nd Ave., Indianola.
