Mass of Christian Burial for Donald L. Archer, who died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Taylor House in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 4 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick, IA. He is survived by his siblings, Carolyn (Andy) Wood, Jeri (Jim) Durham, Sue (Denis) Tutten and Richard (Mary) Archer; nephews, Mike, David, Jamie Durham; nieces, Teresa Elmore, Tami Orta and Sandi Christensen; and long time friend, Ray Byers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Loretta; sister, Judith Ann Archer and nephew, Jeffery Wood. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 3, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
