Services for Delores "Dee" Frazier, 69, of Martensdale, who died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 14 at the Martensdale Community Church with burial following in the Indianola City Cemetery.

Dee was born in Putnam County, Missouri and had lived in Martensdale for 43 years.  She was a former site manager for the congregate meals in Martensdale, previously working as a caregiver in Indianola and Martensdale.  She enjoyed her Church, Bible study group, shopping and especially her grandchildren.

Dee is survived by her husband, Dwayne; son, Dwight (Lisa) Frazier of Patterson, IA and their children, Tanner, Matthew and Nicholas; daughter, Donnette (Thomas) Stewart of Cicero, IN and their children, Christopher and Aaron; brother, Bill (Bethel) Choate of Davenport, IA; and sister, Donna Rhoads of Green City, MO.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy. Visitation will be held 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday, January 13 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 3 – 6 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Martensdale Fire and Rescue.
