Celebration of Life services for Diana Jo Aldridge, 75, who passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 in Norwalk, IA, will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, IA.  Interment of cremains will be at a later date in the Ackworth Cemetery.  Friends may also join the family on our Live Stream on her obituary page of Overton Funeral Home's website.

Diana was born in Evansville, WI on May 19, 1945 to Frank and Kathryn (Bloyer) Outland. She attended school in Beech and Pleasantville, IA, where she played basketball in High School. Diana was united in marriage to Randall Aldridge on December 19, 1963, and the couple has resided in their home in Ackworth ever since. Diana worked at JCPenney, was the city clerk of Ackworth for 30 years, and worked 21 years for Walmart before retiring. She enjoyed visiting family in Wisconsin, spending time with her granddaughters, crewing for hot-air balloons, and gardening.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Randall Aldridge; son, Randy Aldridge of West Des Moines, IA; daughters, Krysti Aldridge of Indianola and Melissa Aldridge of Ackworth, Iowa; granddaughters, Bailey Aldridge of Fort Worth, TX, Blake Aldridge of Ames, IA and Katelyn Byrd of Indianola, IA; and sister, Yvonne Rick of Des Moines, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Lloyd and Forrest Outland.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 11, at Overton Funeral Home.  Masks are encouraged.
