Burial of cremains with military honors for Dewey "Jud" McKee, who passed away December 25, 2021, will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

Celebration of Life services for Dewey "Jud" McKee, 91, of Norwalk, were held December 30, 2021 at the Norwalk Christian Church, Norwalk, IA.

Dewey "Jud' McKee was born and raised in Indianola, IA. He attended Indianola High School and graduated at the age of 16. He attended Simpson College for a year and half before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and serving in Korea. In 1959 he met and married his wife, Carolyn. Dewey enjoyed hunting, fishing, (especially his trips to Canada), and spending time with his family and friends. His wit and wisdom will be missed by all who knew him.

Dewey is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carolyn; children, Craig McKee, Cathy Catron, Granby, CO; grandchildren, Eli McKee, Tyler (Ashley) McKee, Ashley McKee, Chelsie (Jon) Halsey; seven great-grandchildren; sister, LulaBelle McGuire, Lakeland, FL; and many nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey E. and Virginia McKee; sons, Michael, John; grandson, Trevor; four siblings.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Norwalk Christian Church in his name.
