Funeral service for Desiree Jacqueline Catron, 80, who passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Village in Indianola will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Hammondsburg Cemetery, Milo, IA. Desiree is survived by her son; Steven (Debbie) Catron; daughters; Angela (Lonnie) Shannon, Marsha Grandstaff and Patricia (Paul) Young; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Fred Clark Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter, Victoria Legvold; granddaughter, Andrea Catron; parents; two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 9 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Central Iowa Knoxville or the Village Good Shepherd Fund.
