Services for Dennis William Jacobs, 58, who passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at home will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the New Virginia Cemetery, New Virginia, IA.

He is survived by his husband, Michael Ayers; sister, Phyllis (Jeff) McLain; nephew, Eric (Jessica) McLain; great-nieces, Allison Thomas, Sylvia and Mackenzie McLain; and great-nephew, Nathan McLain.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Edith Jacobs, and sister, Sharon Jacobs.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
