Memorial Services for Dennis A. Holt, 54, who died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 11, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial of cremains to held at a later date.. Visitation will be held 4 – 8 p.m., Friday, August 10 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 – 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorials may be designated to W.O.O.F. for Dogs. Dennis was born in Ottumwa and moved to Indianola in 1957. He graduated from Indianola High School and had worked as a foreman in the construction trade with the International for Local # 177. He had been involved with numerous family businesses in Indianola.

Survivors include his son, Eli (Kris) Holt of Des Moines; mother, Joan Holt of Indianola; brother, Gary (Arlene) Holt of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Madison and Nikeli Holt; niece, Danielle Holt; and close family Crystal, Kirby, Alex, and Mason Tootill. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Holt.
