DEANN A. HOWARD Indianola Services for Deann Arlene Howard, 46, who passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 31 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianola, of which she was a member. Burial will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Deann was born January 17, 1966 in Des Moines and lived in Indianola graduating from Indianola High School in 1984. After graduation, she attended the Fashion and Art Institute of Dallas in Omaha, NE. Deann was a stay at home mom, school volunteer and coach. Her true love and passion was following and supporting her three boys in all of their athletic, academic and club endeavors. She also enjoyed traveling frequently with her husband and sons. Deann is survived by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Howard; three sons, Jacob, Joseph and James; parents, Edward and Janice Robinson of Ackworth; sister, Debbie (Rick) Ruble of Indianola; brother, Derrick (Juliana) Robinson of Santa Cruz, CA; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Howard of Indianola; brother-in-law, Greg Howard of West Des Moines; three nieces; two nephews and many uncles and aunts. Visitation will be held 3 to 7 p.m. , Thursday, August 30 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Indianola Mat Tribe or the family.
