On December 23, 2021 Dawson Miller left this life. He was born on February 11, 1948 and lived almost his entire life in the state of Iowa. He served 2 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Dawson worked for American Republic Insurance company for 36 years and retired in 2003. Dawson enjoyed doing many activities with his immediate family. His 2 grandsons meant the world to him.

Memorial donations may be made in Dawson's name to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, 200 Hawkins Dr. Iowa City, Iowa 52242-1052. No services or visitation are planned. Overton Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for burial of the cremains.
