Private family graveside services were held in the Belmont Cemetery for Dawn Marie Reed, 53, of Des Moines, who passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.

Dawn Marie was survived by her husband, David; daughter, Danica (Jake) Goodwin; mother, Carol Preston; father, Kenneth Swanson; step-mother, Julie Draise; 3 sisters; 1 step-brother; 4 grandchildren, Kenna, Mady, Jaxen and Savannah; 5 nieces; and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Charles Preston.
