Dave passed away on his birthday due to a heart condition. He went out on the same day that he came into the world. Dave could light up the room with his unique personality and humor.  Everyone would know when Dave was in the room if you liked it or not, just the way he was.

Dave had a long road of recovery and battling his addictions of drugs and alcohol.  He made it to 12 years of sobriety at the time of his passing.  This path of success in AA opened up many friendships and opportunities in his life. This also renewed and solidified his relationships with his children, who will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his two children, Melissa Ann Moon and Max Taylor Moon; grandchildren, Gavin Williams and Madeline Moon; siblings, Tim (Julie) Moon, Susan (Larry) Swedlund, James (Beth) Moon and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Max Moon and Patricia Ann (Stewart) Moon and beloved grandmother, Velma Anderson.
