DAVID R. McKEE Indianola Services for David R. McKee, 66, who passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 14 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m. Cremation will follow services and inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date in the Scotch Ridge Cemetery, rural Carlisle. David was born April 22, 1949 to John and Carolyn (March) McKee in Des Moines, IA. He was a member of the Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church where his faith was a very important part of his life. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn McKee of Indianola; brothers, Mike McKee of Decorah, Mark (Lynne) McKee of Carlisle and Steven McKee of Indianola. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Indianola Christian Opportunity Center and staff for the many years of love and care that was extended to David.
