David Joshua Kufner, 41, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Josh was born November 23, 1975, in Des Moines, Iowa to David and Leona Kufner. Josh was preceded in death by his mother Leona. Josh is survived by his father, David and sister, Angie.

Josh graduated from Iowa State University with Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Josh was highly intelligent, kind, direct, talkative, and was continuously learning. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and animals. Josh was a comic book, video game, superhero, sci-fi, and movie loving Nerd and was proud of it.
