David Fast, 66, of Prole, Iowa died March 24, 2019 at home.  David was born on August 10,1952 to Paul and Evelyn Fast in St Charles, Iowa. David worked at Des Moines Asphalt in Des Moines as a truck driver and also AutoRama Camper in Des Moines as a techician and he retired from AutoRama. David was an avid crafter and made lots of stuff out of wood and done carvings. David enjoyed wood working and being out in nature. He enjoyed riding UTVs, tractors, and canoeing with his buddies. David was a fun, loving and caring person. He enjoyed family.

David is survived by his brother, Lyle Dean Fast of St. Charles, Iowa as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and several great nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Evelyn Fast; brothers, Roger Fast of St. Charles, Iowa, Larry Fast of Indianola, Iowa, Lanny Fast of Des Moines, Iowa and his sister, Marianna Morrison - Chiles of Churchville, Iowa.

There will be a Celebration Of Life for friends and family on April 20th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bew Haus, 830 McKinley Ave, Des Moines, IA, 50315.  A private family grave site memorial will be held at a later date.
