Graveside services for David John Belcher, 45, who died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 23 in the Carlisle Cemetery.

He was known to many as Uncle Dave.  He loved to fish, go deer spotting and spending time in nature.  His nieces and nephews were a very important part of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Liz; brother, Fred (Sue) Belcher; sisters, Barb (Randy) Howard and Judi Albaugh; brothers-in-law, Evan (Shari) Kibbe and Floyd (Melody) Kibbe III; sister-in-law Timberlea (Bob) Ellis; nieces and nephews, Angie, Shane, Chad, Rick, Tiffany, Raymond, Saydie, Brian, Aleisha, Brandon, Andrew, Dylan, and Devin; seven great nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Floyd Kibbe Jr. and mother-in-law, Nancy Kibbe.

He was preceded by his parents, Delores and Alfred Belcher.

Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 22 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the Animal Rescue League.
