Dale was born February 3, 1913, in Warren County, IA to William and Mary Taylor. He graduated from Indianola High School and served in the Seabees during World War II. He worked for Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. in Des Moines for 20 years. Dale enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobby was to harvest and crack walnuts in the fall.

He is survived by his daughters, Deb (Bruce) Henry of Des Moines and Annette (Jerry) Wells of Des Moines; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with service following. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Dale's name to the charity of your choice.
