DALE COWDIN Norwalk Dale Grant Cowdin, son of Harold Edward and Joan Marie (Gerry) Cowdin, was born on July 7, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska. He died recently at his home in Norwalk. Dale graduated from Norwalk High School in 1982. After graduating from Grand View College in 1986, he began his career in audio-visual production, working in Houston, Texas and central Iowa. He participated in music ministry in several churches. Throughout his life Dale's greatest passions were music and the outdoors. Family members and friends will remember him with a guitar, a golf club, a Frisbee, or an expanse of his beloved zoysia grass. He is survived by his sister, LaDonna Russell, his nephew, Sean Russell, his niece, Katie Russell, and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Overton's Funeral Home in Indianola. Private inurnment of the cremains will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the organization of the donor's choice.
