A Celebration of Life Visitation for Craig Harold Hines, 62, who passed away at home in Indianola, will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Overton Funeral Home.

Craig was born September 8, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Edward and Marjorie (Anderson) Hines. He liked bowling, woodworking, fishing, camping, watching football, Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a big Raiders fan.  He was a good prankster and loved practical jokes. He and son, Curtis really enjoyed working concrete together and being outside. He enjoyed the time he spent working with his nephew, Jay Brookhart building playgrounds. He always talked about going out of town with Jay. Always said they worked hard but had a blast. Craig loved muscle cars and was big into classic cars. He enjoyed gardening, outdoor stuff, just being outside. He enjoyed a beer or two with all his friends. He consider you all his friends. He loved his grandkids and was always giving them the business.

Craig is survived by his children, Curty (Mary) Hines, Shannon Hines; grandchildren, Jacob and Chey Hines; great-grandchild, Justin Hines; sibling Terry (Stan) Sherwood, Doug Hines, best friend, Dave Swartslander and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Bud Hines.

Memorials may be given to the family in his name.
