Coleen Wareham passed away days following a stroke at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street in Des Moines on Monday, February 27, 2017. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., March 10 at Overton Funeral Home with burial of cremains following the service in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Coleen Beulah Wareham was born January 30, 1932 in Milo, IA and was a long time resident of Indianola. She worked for many years at Simpson College as a custodian, a fact she was very proud of and she also was a beautician for several years.

She enjoyed camping with family, shopping, visiting the beauty salon, her pet cats, vacationing and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Nadine Hendrix; granddaughter, Carla Woods; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Wareham, a brother Robert Graham and her parents.

Memorials may be given in her name to the family.
