Memorial services for Cleo Andrew Green, 64, who passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, will be held 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial of cremains will follow at a later date at the Wallace Cemetery in Wick.

Born at home in Indianola, IA, Cleo graduated from Indianola High School in 1960. He attended Iowa State University and was a computer specialist for the State of Iowa; his involvement with computers began when the computer field was in the introductory "pioneer" stages of development. Cleo served in the U.S. Army with the Iowa National Guard for six years. Recently retired, Cleo was self-employed and owned Green Appraisal Service in Ankeny. He was a member of the National Real Estate Appraisal Association and the Ankeny Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by a son Craig (Diane) of Brooklyn Center, MN; a daughter Julie (David) Zubradt of New York City, NY; his sister, Delores (Merrill) Butler of rural Indianola; and 3 grandsons, Drew and Connor Green and Gabriel Zubradt. Also surviving are 3 nephews, Jeff (Betty) Butler, Randy (Lisa Butler) and Terry (Bev) Butler, all of Indianola; and his ex-wife and friend Joyce Green.

Visitation will be held prior to services 4:00-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the Ankeny Country Club.
