CLAYTON McKINNEY

Services for Clayton McKinney, 36, of Indianola, IA, who passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the New Virginia Cemetery.

Clayton Eugene McKinney was born on December 15, 1982 in Des Moines to David and Beverly (Smith) McKinney and graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines.  Following High School, he worked for Siegwerk in Des Moines.  His greatest love was his children.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly McKinney; brother, Matthew (Riann) McKinney; children, Evan McKinney, Bella Beckman and Mason McKinney; grandmother, Gwen Smith; uncle Randy Smith, aunt Sheryl (Tom) Rielly.  He was preceded in death by his father, David McKinney, sister, Suzanne McKinney; grandparents, Billy Smith, Ruby and Lawrence McKinney.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the family in his name for his children.
