CLARENCE A. ESSICK Norwalk Services for Clarence A. Essick, 90, who passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 5 at Norwalk United Methodist Church in Norwalk with burial following in the Norwalk Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the church starting at noon. Clarence was born in Indianola and farmed his entire life in the Norwalk area. He was united in marriage on Christmas day in 1945 to Glenna Alice Bishop. Clarence is survived by his daughters, Pat (Gary) Alexander, Diana (Dave) Spieker and Teri (Mark) Lass all of Norwalk; brother, Kenneth (Viv) Essick; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Malissa) Alexander, Matt (Jennifer) Alexander, Missy (Jeff) Smith, Angie (Darin) Engle, Mike (Bobbi) Spieker, Chad (Leslie) Spieker, and Steven, Justin and Jared Lass; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Glenna Essick; siblings, Alonzo E, Louise, Gene and Richard Essick and two grandchildren. Memorials may be given to the Norwalk United Methodist Church.
