Volunteering was an important part of her life. You could usually find her at the front gate of many Indianola athletic events taking tickets. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Indianola. Playing bridge was one of her talents, and she played in eight clubs. She was an avid reader and had a passion for traveling, as well as playing the slots at local casinos. Being an active follower of the Iowa Hawkeyes, she often attended home football games as well as traveled to many bowl games with friends.
She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, support of her community, love of her family and friends, and affection for all animals, especially her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Kyle Bobinet and his wife, Shelly, of Osage; her daughter, Kayla Jensen and her husband, Brad, of Dallas Center. Her grandchildren include Tyler and Talera Jensen, and Julia, Brett, Ellie and Eric Bobinet.
