Chris Wilgenbusch, 61, passed away at his farm home in the St. Charles area on Saturday, July 28, 2007. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August 1, at 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the St. Marys Cemetery following the Mass.

Born in Des Moines, Chris had been a lifelong rural resident of St. Charles and St. Marys area. He had farmed and driven school buses all his life. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in St. Marys.

Chris is survived by Judy, his wife of 42 years; his son Scott (Iika) of Burnsville, MN; his daughter Kelley (Jim) Ellis of West Des Moines, IA, four grandchildren; one brother, Pete Wilgenbusch of St. Mary's, IA; and two sisters, Nancy Wilgenbusch of Portland, OR and Sharon Smith of Apache Junction, AZ.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church with a scripture wake service at 7:30 p.m.
