Private family services for Chester Franklin Sutherland, 87, who passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at home, will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  Friends may join the family on our Livestream beginning at 11 a.m. on Chester's obituary page of Overton Funeral Home's website.  Burial with military rites will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Chester is survived by his wife Norma of 64 years; children, Denice (Paul) White, Kevin Sutherland, Roland (Susan) Sutherland, and Rodney (Doreen) Sutherland; grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Bailey, Kasey (Dana) Sutherland, Mary (Joshua Zdroik) White, and Emily Sutherland; sister, Donna (Cecil) Pace.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mervin and Veda Sutherland; grandchildren, Jesse Jo Sutherland, and Ethan Sutherland.

Public Visitation will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 prior to services at Overton Funeral Home.  Face masks are required.  Memorials may be designated to the family in his name.
