Preston, who died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26 at the Belmont Cemetery, Milo, IA He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Janis (John) Coxe, Doug (Rita) Preston, Matthew (Anni) Preston, Dawn (Rich) Pentico, Elizabeth Blakley and DeeAnn (Jason) Swanson; brother, Donald (Arlene) Preston; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Preston and brother Wilbur Preston. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association or to the family in his name.
