A Memorial Visitation for Charles Robert McCord, 67, of Norwalk, who passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the American Legion Post #165, 105 West 1 ^st Ave., Indianola. Private burial of cremains will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Charles was born on November 3, 1954 to Charley John and Betty Jean (Kinney) McCord.  He graduated from Indianola High School in 1973 and from Missouri Institute of Technology.  He worked for Main Stay Systems then Direct TV before retirement.

Charley enjoyed watching football and spending time with his great-grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Josh) Richard; grandchildren, Alishia Wawers and Nicholas Wawers; great-grandchildren, Cade Fales, Charles Davis and Nilayah Huddelson; and sisters, Karen (Neal Curry) McCord and Mary (Teresa Creel) McCord.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Betty McCord and sister, Connie Dvorak.
