Charles "Charlie/Chicken Bone" Weiss, 52, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at home.  Inurnment of cremains with military rites will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 3, 2023 from 3:30 to 8:30 pm at Raccoon River Park (in the Biddle Shelter) located at 2500 Grand Ave West Des Moines, IA 50265.

Charlie is survived by his companion, Maryann Weaver; children, Brittney (Nicholas) Weiss, Geordyn Weiss, Taelor Weiss, Charles Weiss Jr., Anya Bixenmann; grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Teigenh Weiss, Jacob Smith, Chaedyn Weiss, Rex Charles Weiss, Harper Supple, Zoey Weiss; parents, Bill (Maryann) Weiss and Mary (Ron) Weiss; brother, Jeremy (Lynnann) Weiss and many extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
