Services for Charles J. Johnson, 64, who passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at home, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 at the Martensdale Community Church with burial following in the Calvary Cemetery, Churchville, IA. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Brooks and Amy (Brent) Falcon; grandson, Jared Ruhl; siblings, Joann (Bill) Johnson, Dennis (Judy) Johnson, Richard Johnson, Madonna Johnson and Daniel (Jan) Johnson. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Genevieve Johnson; brothers, Theodore and John Johnson Jr. Visitation will be held Monday, April 21 at Overton Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. were family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Martensdale Fire & Rescue or Kiya Koda Humane Society.
