CHARLES E. HINES Indianola Services for Charles E. Hines, 81, who passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow services in the St. Charles Cemetery, St. Charles, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; children, Clay (Shirley) Hines, Carl (Jerri) Hines, Candy Hines, Cindy Crippen; sister, Essie Mae Leak; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Connie Hines; son, Curtis and Craig Hines; parents, Frank and Essie Hines; and siblings, Frank Hines, Fayrene Morgan and Delores Spencer. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Mercy Hospice in Johnston or the American Cancer Society.
