Cecelia was born April 13, 1919 in Richland, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Arthur McCoy and twins, Doris and Donald McCoy. She was a member of Leon First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Carol) McCoy of Seattle, WA, Harold McCoy of Osceola, David McCoy of Leon, Leonard (Angelia) McCoy of Des Moines, Shirley Langille and Patrick Connelly of Osceola; brother, Bob Turnbull of Louisville, CO; and sister, Vera Tubbs of Phoenix, AZ. Cecelia had 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Cecelia had a passion for flowers and gardening. Her favorite time of the year was spring. She enjoyed babysitting her great-grandchildren and will be missed by family and her many friends.

Visitation will be held 5 – 8 p.m., Monday, March 12 at Overton Funeral Home.
