Funeral services for Catherine A. Spieker, 87, who died Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 11 at St. John's Catholic Church in Norwalk, of which she was a member. Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery.

Catherine was born in Des Moines and had retired as a bookkeeper from the State Highway Patrol.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Spieker of Des Moines, Mary Ellen (Dick) Hamilton of Madison, WI, and David (Diane) Spieker of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; parents; a son, Michael Spieker; and two sisters.

Visitation, with family present, will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 10 at St. John's Catholic Church in Norwalk where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Regency Care Center.
