CARROLL L. BALL Ackworth Carroll L. Ball, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Indianola. A celebration visitation will be held Noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 1 at the Sandyville Community Center, Sandyville, IA. Carroll retired from Bridgestone Firestone in 1995 after 32 years. He then worked for Phillips Floors for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Cathy of 49 years; children, Mike Ball, Cheryl (James) Taylor and Randy (Cindy) Ball; brother, Charles Ball; sisters, Jane Larson and Mae Johnson; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Hazel Ball; and siblings, Frances Whistler, Myrna King, Darl Ball and Clyde Ball. Memorials may be given in his name to Indianola Fire and Rescue.
