IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carolyn Laura
Norsby
June 18, 1936 – August 19, 2024
Carolyn was born to Raymond and Edna Johnson on June 8, 1936 in St. Paul, MN and entered the gates of Heaven on August 19, 2024.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Laura Lyons, Randall, and Gerrilyn (John) Peck; grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Ryan, Diane, Nicole (fiancé Samuel), Jennifer, Emily (Weston), and Katherine; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Elijah; sister, Judy (Phil) Hove; as well as, numerous other family members and many dear friends.
After graduating from Hamline University School of Nursing as an RN in 1957, Carolyn worked at several hospitals in the St. Paul area before working for 28 years at the Highland Chateau Health Care Center. She was a devoted nurse who was loved by patients and coworkers alike.
On December 30, 1960, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gerald. Together they raised four wonderful children, were active members of Peace Reformed Church, and enjoyed extensive travel.
Carolyn's highest priority in life was her family. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren, for whom she would do absolutely anything. Her sacrificial love was always evident in everything she did, as was her faith and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Gerald; son, Daniel; great-grandson, Skyler; and sisters, Marjorie and Janet.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Peace Reformed Church in Eagan, MN, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
