Caroline Kay Moen, 70, died on June 19, 2009, at her home.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 at Overton Funeral Home, 501 West Ashland in Indianola with Pastor John Long officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 22 with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Caroline was born on September 27, 1938, in Indianola, Iowa. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1956 and Simpson College in 1963. She married Milford Moen on July 6, 1963, and they have one son, Mark.

Caroline was a computer programmer for Equitable of Iowa, Systems Analyst for Kirk VanOrsdel, and Computer Operator for the City of Indianola. She was a member of the Indianola Rebecca Lodge, the Agenda Club, and the Chapel of Faith Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques and collectables.

Caroline is survived by her husband, Milford; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sheri; sister, Patty Gilliland of Fort Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Amy Schnathorst (Josh) of Indianola, Ashley Oakes of Cedar Rapids, Amber Moen of Ackworth; and one great-grandson, Ayden. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Iris Judkins; and brother-in-law, Richard Gilliland.

Memorials may be given to Chapel of Faith or Hospice of Iowa.
