EMMA "CAROL" HUBBARD-SCHLOTTERBACK Largo, FL formerly of Indianola Services for Emma "Carol" Hubbard-Schlotterback, 66, who passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 19, 2011, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Indianola, IA. Carol was born in Montgomery County, IA, September 30, 1944 to Lester and Grace Haas. She graduated from Red Oak High School in 1962. Carol married Charles W. Hubbard on November 18, 1962 and moved to Indianola. She and Charles had two sons, Matthew and Mark. She was a wife, mother, teacher's aide and secretary. She retired from Cemen Tech, Inc in 2003 and moved to Florida. She married her second husband, Jim Schlotterback on April 1, 2005 and lived in Largo, FL. Carol loved to volunteer her time at numerous organizations. Carol is survived by her husband, Jim Schlotterback; sons, Matthew (Jody) Hubbard of Milo, IA and Mark Hubbard of Lacona, IA; two step sons, Chad Schlotterback of Sherman Oaks, CA and Thad Schlotterback of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Alysa, Rebecca, Charlie, Corey and David; three brothers, Donald Haas of Jonesboro, AR, Duane Haas of Omaha, NE, and Marion Haas of Red Oak, IA; and various relatives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles in 1995; parents in 1996; sisters Doris Dawson in 2002 and Lucy McWilliam in 2010.
