Burle Lee Croy, 77, of St. Charles, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center in West Des Moines.  Burles wishes were to cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Burle was born on April 17, 1946, the son of Virgil and Maxine LaVon (Wheeler) Croy in Des Moines, Iowa.  On July 19, 1969 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Marie Cook.  To this union three children were born, Cheryl Marie, Sharon Ann and Kevin Lee.  Burle had worked as a laborer in construction for many years.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his son Kevin Lee Croy, parents, Virgil and Maxine Croy; brother, Jerry Croy and Randy Croy and granddaughter, Chelsey Lester.  He is survived by his wife Phyllis; children, Cheryl (Todd) Schall and Sharon Croy; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Virgil (Linda) Croy, Sandra Kenworthy, Connie (Dan) Alves, Brian Croy and Rodney Croy.
