Brian James Vogt, 53, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of James Kenneth and Linda Jane (Biggar) Vogt, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 at home of natural causes.

Brian graduated from Linn Mar High School and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Throughout his working life he did landscaping and most recently commercial sandblasting.

Brian enjoyed bowling, watching movies, dogs but most importantly was work, family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Jane Vogt Vandervelde; siblings, Linda (Eric) Haworth, Mark (Carla) Vogt and Laura (Al Franck) Vogt; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Vogt.
