Brenda Lee Smith, 64, of Indianola, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Des Moines.  A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Brenda was born on June 13, 1960 in Des Moines, to Donald Lee and Joan L. (Lorsee) Smith.  She graduated from East High School in Des Moines.  Brenda worked for Tone's in Ankeny, Caseys and McDonald's in Des Moines.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Charity Hart; sisters, Teresa Wilbur and Pam Cosner; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her longtime companion Jim Rivers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joan Smith.

Memorials in memory of Brenda may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola.
