BEVERLY J. BYERS Indianola Services for Beverly J. Byers, 82, who died Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center, will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 15 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Hammondsburg Cemetery, rural Milo. Born in Warren County, she was a homemaker and worked at Indianola Good Samaritan Center where she retired after 26 years. She is survived by children, Karla (George Sirovy), Rodney (Donna) Byers, Marlin Byers, Bobby Byers, Cheryl (Dale) Miller, Peggy (Jim) Compton, Allen (Jo) Byers, Lloyd (Sue) Byers Jr., Jeffery (Kathy) Byers, Sandra (Chris) Terrell and Janet (Chris) Sampson; 31 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and sister, Arlene Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Pearl Overton; husband, Lloyd; brother, Russell Jr.; and an infant sister, Delores. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 14 at OvertonFuneral Home where family will be present to greet friend from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Central Iowa and Indianola Good Samaritan Society.
