Betty was born in Bono, Arkansas and had lived in Indianola since 1971. She worked for the Indianola Good Samaritan Center from 1998 – 2007.

Survivors include her daughter, Veronica (Brian) Danner of Ankeny; son, Edward Lee Saint of Menlo; grandchildren, Amber Corrieri, Ashley, and Matthew Danner and Keli Paris; great grandchildren, Jordan and Isabella Corrieri; brothers, Robert, Bill and Ernest Puckett; sisters, Maxine Roberts, Nadine Etheridge, Naomi Buckett and Faye Douglas. She was preceded in death by her son James and husband William "Edd" Saint.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 29 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
