Betty C. Hull 79, died at her home on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Overton Funeral Home with burial following in the Scotch Ridge Cemetery rural Carlisle, IA. Betty Hull was born in Indianola, IA on November 17, 1932; and graduated from Indianola High School. On December 3, 1950, she married her long time sweetheart Merle Hull. She and Merle lived in California for 36 years where she worked as a business manager for multiple auto dealerships before returning to Indianola in 1994. Betty enjoyed camping, square dancing, bowling, reading and playing various games with her family and friends. She was also an avid baseball fan and enjoyed attending her grandkids and great grandkids various activities. Betty loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Preceding her in death is her husband, Merle Hull; parents, Harry Breuklander and Dora "Neill" Breuklander; brothers, Harry Jr. (Dutch), Thomas (Tom), Gerald (Jack), and Paul (Pete). Betty is survived by a brother, Samuel (Sue) Breuklander; son, Michael Hull of Represa, Ca; daughter, Pamela "Hull" Boyd of Indianola; grandchildren Keith (Oi) Midboe, Colt Hull, Rex Hull, Montana Hull, Shelby Hull and Shani Hull, Stacy (Cory) Keller, Brandon (Melissa) Boyd, Aaron Boyd, Cory Boyd, Shannon Boyd; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm Friday February 3, 2012 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
