Funeral services for Betty Ann Dales, 86, of Indianola, who passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at home, will be held 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 21 at the First Assembly of God Church in Indianola with visitation held one hour prior to service. Burial will take place in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.

Betty is survived by her husband, Lloyd; children, Ronald (Vickie) Dales, Douglas (Jacque) Dales, Laura Dales, Kimberly (James) Oliver; grandchildren, Joshua Dales, Allison (John) Frietag, Ben Dales, Dustin (Heather) Dales, Travis Downey, Anthony Tufarella, Kathleen Harris, Seth (Aliyah) Benge, Cooper Dales, Charmayne Ford; 9 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gladys Nelson; siblings, Andrew Nelson, Darlene Teachout; granddaughter, Sommor Dales.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer or to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in her name.
