Funeral Mass for Beth Elaine Kilgore, 91, of Indianola, who passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to service. Cremation will follow services.

Beth grew up and graduated from Lohrville, Iowa.  She went to work for Look Magazine and played on their basketball team.  She then spent several years raising six kids with Chuck.  While the kids were growing up, she went to work for Jimmy Dean in Osceola before she retired.  Then she came out of retirement to work at Merit Cleaners in Indianola.

She is survived by her children, Linda Walk, Carroll Kilgore, Deb (Kevin) Thomas, Mary (Joe) Shineflew, Lori (Steve) Clark, Mike Kilgore; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kilgore; parents, Gilbert and Elizabeth Hobart; siblings, Darlene Gorton, Delores Williams, Donald Hobart; sisters-in-law, Patty Sorenson and Barb Yamaguchi and grandson, Richard Walk.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in her name for a contribution at a later date.
