Funeral services for Beryle Arlene Overton, 91, of Indianola, who passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Good Samaritan will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 30 at Overton Funeral Home, in Indianola, visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Indianola, IA.

Beryle Arlene (Beebe) Overton was born July 11, 1926 to George and Julia (Towne) Beebe in Culbertson, Nebraska. She graduated from Hayes Center High School in Hayes Center, Nebraska, in 1944. After graduation she attended college in Lincoln Nebraska for one year. She then worked at Elgin Watch Factory in Lincoln. She married Richard Overton on January 10, 1947, in Maryville, Kansas, and had four sons. They later divorced in 1983.  Beryle worked as a beautician for many years at Dorothy's Beauty Shop in Indianola. She loved flowers, cardinals, and everything pink and purple.

She is survived by her sons, Clayton Overton of Woodward, Iowa, Roger (Mary) Overton of Indianola, and Vance (Ruth) Overton of Indianola; grandchildren; Greg (Deb) Overton, Libby (Chris) Cornell, Michael Endres, Kyle Overton, Travis Overton, Megan (Alex) Steele; great grandchildren, Katelyn (Ariel) Telot, Amber Overton, and Kinsey Overton; sister, Sharon (Jack) Lytle; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Richard; son, Murray; parents, George and Julia Beebe; and brother, Victor Beebe.
