Becky S. Young Indianola Services for Becky S. Young, 63, who passed away, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at The Village in Indianola, will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 15 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Winterset Cemetery. Becky (Wilson) Young was born on April 6, 1950 in Winterset to Marvin and Marabelle Wilson. She was a graduate of Winterset High School, Class of 1968. Her marriage to Don Young took place on June 12, 1970 in Winterset and to this union a son Jon was born. After graduation she began her career at Continential Western Insurance, Bankers Life and retired as Admin Ass't to the President & CEO of People's Trust and Savings Bank in Indianola. Becky enjoyed shopping, family gatherings and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Don; son, Jon ( Jenny) Young; grandchildren, Will and Emma Young all of Indianola; brother, Marvin (Mary) Wilson of Overland Park, KS; sister, Kathy Hendricks of Winterset; and sister-in-law, Deb (Wilson) Porter of Carroll. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Marabelle Wilson; brother, Barry Wilson; infant sister, Cynthia Wilson and brother-in-law Bud Hendricks. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 14 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Good Shepherd Fund at The Village in Indianola.
