Becky Lou was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and lived most of her life in Warren County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Dean Phillips; and great grandchild, Hunter Thomas. Surviving are her sons, Lloyd (Misty) Phillips and Tim (Laura) Phillips of New Virginia, Larry Phillips of Milo, Charles (Kim) Phillips of Indianola, Mark (Wendy) Phillips of Omaha, NE, and Rick (Tammy) Phillips of Papillion, NE; husband, Floyd Cook of Indianola; step-child, Joey Duff of Des Moines; brothers, Gerald and George Zenor of Des Moines; sisters, Mary Enos of Des Moines, Nancy Jones of Gray, and Vicki Merrell of Indianola; 16 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 1 – 5 p.m., Sunday, August 5 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Blank Children's Hospital in her name.
