Funeral services for Barton E. Perrigo, 83, who passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Clearview Care Center in Mt. Ayr, IA, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, IA with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Barton served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Des Moines Register. He is survived by his wife Rosemary; children, Vicky (Dave) Hicks of Des Moines Timothy Perrigo of Ankeny, Jamie (Rick) Robinson of Mercer, MO, Dennis (Julie) Prine of Des Moines; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Pat) Patterson of Marietta, GA and extended family. He was preceded in death by his first wife Charlene; sisters, Norma and Lila and a grandson Justin Robinson. Memorials may be given in his name to the American Lung Association.
