Services for Diann Runciman, 71, who passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to services from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Diann was born the daughter of Harold and Helen Runciman on November 6, 1950 in Des Moines, IA.  Diann graduated from Indianola High School in 1968 and attended Simpson College before graduating from A.I.B. in Des Moines in 1971.  Following graduation, she moved to Arizona and worked for Capital Lumber for many years.  She returned to Indianola in 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her sister, Cheryl (Tom) Shipman and brother Max (Deb) Runciman; son, Shawn (Jamie) McCollum and grandchildren, Riley and Ryan McCollum.

Memorials may be given in her name to Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola.
